an amazing vacation.
."
Dear rent my Island.
I recently rented the 2
bedroom house w/private
island.
The Main house was
clean, tastefully decorated
and in a great quiet
neighborhood. The island
was amazing with wonderful
quaint island charm and also
impeccably clean. we lounged
on dock snorkeled and had
lunch with our friendly
island iguanas. The staff is
amazing from the owners to
property manager. Roy Met us
at check in and he is no
mess around kinda guy. The
boat was gassed up, grill
ready and even helped carry in
our bags. He could not have
been friendlier. He checked
in a couple of times during
week and could not have been
more helpful from suggesting
restaurants to day trips.
Patty made booking a breeze
and was very knowledgeable
about area prior to trip. I
would highly recommend this
or any other properties
owned by this group for your
Keys vacation. I did sight
see throughout the keys and
will tell you that
Islamorada and Marathon is
where you want to be if
visiting the Florida Keys.

on a quite street in a pleasant neighborhood in Marathon
close to restaurants and shopping.
We provide a boat for transportation to and from
your island. This worry free site is truly a get
away from it all. This exposed fossilized ancient
reef is beautifully landscaped with trails
wandering throughout. You can enjoy wandering the
paths through the mangrove trees, fishing from the
dock, or snorkeling in the crystal clear waters
around the island. We provide a grill and picnic
table for your tropical picnic & to enjoy the
tropical breezes off the Gulf waters. There
are kayaks as well.
The serene
crystal clear warm waters of this Marathon
Florida location are occasioned by a variety of
wild life including visiting dolphins, sea
turtles, manatees, parrot and angel fish,
roosting pelicans, great herons to name a few -
perfect for nature lovers and sport fishing enthusiasts. The property
is fully furnished and decorated in open Mediterranean
style, complete with Spanish tile
throughout. The home itself is located on
a quiet, dead-end street, near mile marker 52,
and features no stairs for easy access.
This rental includes a dock in your own back yard - on a waterway
adjacent to the Gulf of Mexico, this is
perfect location for a worry free
vacation!

family vacation ever!"
We had such a wonderful time on this
vacation, I just wanted to take the
time to comment on this property. We
stayed during mini-lobster week and
had such a great time diving for
lobster off the island, it was
great. We traveled with several
children and this island is the best
place for kids. The kids caught
crabs, fished from the dock,
snorkeled every day, traveled around
the island in kayaks and just had a
generally fun time playing in the
mangroves and exploring the island.
They have been talking about their
"private Island" since we got home.
Location was great for exploring the
rest of the keys as well. An hour or
so from key west or key largo, so we
were able to go to both as well as
Bahia Honda park for a great beach.
Lots to do around here for kids. The
kids really liked the Theater by the
Sea in Islamorada. It was nice
having the boat to just run out to
the island and back to the main
house whenever we wanted to. The
property manager "Kokomo Joe" really
made our vacation special. He was
always around for advice, to help us
with the boat, he even found us
fishing poles for the kids and
helped the kids chop a fresh coconut
up with a machete. They really
thought that was special. The house
is small but very clean and well
maintained, the manager came several
times throughout the week to clean
the outside and the yard and make
sure everything was in order. Having
the washer and dryer was very
helpful with all of the children. It
was also nice having the full
kitchen to cook meals. Not a fancy
place but a great base for your
vacation to sleep, cook meals, do
laundry and shower. I definitely
would recommend to anyone with
children, they will love the island.
We saw snapper, nurse sharks, spiny
lobster, crabs, sea urchins, many
types of coral and fish while
snorkeling. Caught fish easily off
the dock at the island. No sandy
beaches on the island, but there are
several very close by in marathon if
you want. Coco Plum is a nice beach
and they let dogs go there, Annies
Beach in Islamorada was nice, Bahia
Honda is a white sand beach and good
snorkeling for little kids, and
Sombrero Beach right in Marathon was
very nice with white sand and a
playground for the kids. Really a
vacation to remember for us. The
kids haven't stopped talking since
we got home.
